Set Up Postcode or Area Code Routing
If you have one national number but multiple branches or offices, you can automatically route callers to the nearest location based on where they are calling from.
Area code routing
With area code routing, incoming calls are forwarded based on the caller’s area code. You define which area codes go to which branch or endpoint. Once configured, callers are automatically connected to the correct location.
Postcode routing
If you have multiple branches within the same area code region, postcode routing gives you more precision. Callers are asked to enter the digits of their postcode. Based on that input, the call is forwarded to the branch in their area.
How to set it up
Contact support to configure routing for your number. You provide a list of area codes or postcodes and the destination for each. Once set up, routing works automatically for every incoming call.
