When calls to your business number are forwarded to your personal phone, you might want to know which calls are business and which are personal. That is exactly what a whisper tone does.

With a whisper tone enabled, you hear a short tone or message before the call connects. If you hear it, the call came through your business number. If you do not hear it, someone dialled your personal number directly.

This is also useful if you have multiple business numbers — give each one a different whisper tone so you know which number the caller dialled and how to answer.

How to activate it
