You can set up your phone number to handle calls differently depending on the day and time. For example, forward calls to your team during business hours and play a closed message with voicemail outside hours.

This works for any scenario — standard office hours, shift-based rotas, weekend cover, or 24-hour helplines where different people are on duty at different times.

How to set it up

Set your opening hours in the dashboard under Opening Hours Schedule. Define when you are open and what should happen outside those times — for example play a closed message, forward to voicemail, or route to a different endpoint.

For shift-based setups, you can combine opening hours with the availability toggle so team members log in and out at the start and end of their shifts.

Changes take effect immediately.

Holidays

For bank holidays or company holidays, use the Holiday Calendar in the dashboard. Set the dates you are closed and choose what callers hear on those days. The holiday calendar overrides your regular opening hours automatically.
