With the mobile block feature, your number can only be reached from a landline. Mobile callers hear a short message explaining this.

This is mainly used on 0800 toll-free numbers, where the cost of mobile calls is higher and passed on to the number holder.

How to activate

Enable mobile block in the dashboard under Number Settings. Switch the toggle on and the filter is active immediately.

What mobile callers hear

When a mobile caller dials your number, they hear an announcement — for example “This number can only be reached from a landline.” You can customise this message:

  • Record it yourself — make a recording on your mobile phone and send it to us.
  • Use our text-to-speech assistant — type your message, choose a voice, and paste the generated code into the dashboard.

You can also redirect mobile callers to a different number instead of playing a message. Contact our support team to set this up.
