Activate a Whisper Tone
When the whisper tone feature is enabled, you hear a short tone, melody, or spoken message just before the call connects. The caller does not hear it — only you do.
This tells you whether an incoming call is coming through your virtual number or through your regular direct line, before you even pick up.
How to activate
Log in to your dashboard and go to Number Settings. Scroll to the Whisper Tone option and switch it on.
You can choose from several standard tones and melodies, or create your own spoken whisper:
- Record it yourself — make a short recording on your mobile phone and send it to us.
- Use our text-to-speech assistant — type your message, choose a voice, and paste the generated code into the dashboard.
The feature is included in every subscription at no extra cost.
