The sticking point
Email worked, but with a luxury purchase a customer often wants to speak to someone before deciding. Customers outside France hesitated, though, to call an unfamiliar foreign number, because they did not know what it would cost or whether anyone would answer.
So a decision took longer than necessary, and the chance to build trust in a conversation before the purchase was lost.
What we set up
A national Dutch number, so that customers in the Netherlands call Laelaps-Paris on a number from their own country. In the Netherlands a national number can be registered to the company’s own address, even if that is in Paris.
How the call flows
- The caller Netherlands Calls a Dutch number instead of a French one.
- Our network CallFactory Our own license in the Netherlands. There is no intermediary in the route.
- Who answers The company's own team or a local office, depending on the customer.
