Desk phone
A desk phone is one of the connection options in our phone system, along with a fixed number on mobile, a softphone, or a voicebot. You choose the brand and model that fits your office, purchase it from your IT supplier or any standard online shop, and connect it to your CallFactory number through the dashboard.

Benefits of desk phones
Why a physical phone on your desk still makes sense, even in a hybrid phone system with softphones and mobile phones.
Always connected
A desk phone stays logged in while powered on, so incoming calls arrive reliably without depending on an app that can close in the background.
You choose and connect
You purchase the phone from your IT supplier or online shop and connect it through our dashboard, so you're not locked into one vendor or waiting for delivery.
Works with every provider
Your desk phone integrates with our platform regardless of your current provider, like Claro or Movistar, without changing your existing setup or contract.
See how it works
Connecting a VoIP desk phone is straightforward once you have it in your office.
Get a phone
Order the phone from your IT supplier or any standard online shop. We recommend Ubiquiti UniFi Talk or Yealink, but any SIP-compatible brand works.
Create account
Log in to your dashboard and create a new VoIP account for the phone. You'll see the SIP credentials.
Enter credentials
Enter the SIP credentials into the phone using the settings menu or web interface.
Start calling
The phone connects to our platform and is ready to make and receive calls under your business number.
Compatible with any SIP phone
The CallFactory phone system works with any VoIP phone brand or model that supports the SIP protocol, so you’re not locked into a single hardware manufacturer. This applies whether you’re setting up a multi-phone office, a single phone for remote work, or a mix of both.
Use whatever fits your business:
- a VoIP desk phone for traditional office workstations,
- a softphone on a laptop or desktop,
- a fixed number on mobile for employees who travel,
- or a voicebot to handle calls outside business hours.
Already have VoIP phones from a previous provider? In most cases you can keep using them, since any SIP-compatible phone can connect to our system. You don’t have to replace everything when you switch.
Purchase and connect your own phone
You purchase desk phones directly from your IT supplier or through standard online shops. This way you choose the brand and model that suits your office, compare prices and delivery times, and maintain your relationship with your IT partner. For companies that already have an IT supplier for network equipment and workstations, that’s often the logical place to order phones too.
Once the phone arrives at your office, you create a VoIP account in your CallFactory dashboard. You’ll receive SIP credentials that you enter into the phone via its settings menu or web interface, after which the device connects to our platform and is ready to use. You can activate a new workspace in just a few minutes without waiting for delivery or pre-configuration from a provider.
This approach works just as well for a single phone in a home office as it does for dozens of phones spread across multiple locations. You manage all accounts centrally from your dashboard, even when the phones came from different suppliers.
Ubiquiti UniFi Talk Touch โ our recommendation
The Ubiquiti UniFi G3 series and later are the newest generation of desk phones from this American brand and a strong choice for many businesses. Ubiquiti builds well-known network equipment like access points and switches, and applies the same design philosophy to their VoIP phones.
A few features that set these phones apart:
- Easy to use. Operation happens through a large touchscreen with clear menus, so employees without technical knowledge can use it right away.
- Polycarbonate housing. Instead of standard plastic, Ubiquiti uses polycarbonate, which feels more solid and lasts longer than the cheaper materials you see on many other brands.
- Firmware updates from the screen. You can apply security updates directly from the phone’s settings menu, so the firmware stays current without anyone needing to physically retrieve or open the phone.
That last point makes these phones noticeably safer in practice. VoIP phones running old firmware for years are a known risk on business networks because security gaps fixed in newer versions stay open. When updates can be applied directly from the settings menu, the chances they actually happen is much higher.
Beyond Ubiquiti, our system also works excellently with Yealink, which has been one of the most widely used brands among our customers for years. Which brand you choose often comes down to what your IT supplier recommends and which look fits your office.
One endpoint in a hybrid phone system
The desk phone is one endpoint in the CallFactory phone system, along with a fixed number on mobile, a softphone on your computer, and automated endpoints like a voicebot or selection menu]. You combine these endpoints freely, with one business number ringing multiple devices at once or in sequence.
A typical setup might look like this: during business hours, the desk phone and laptop softphone ring together, then after hours calls go to a team member’s mobile number, and overnight a voicebot picks up to recognize urgent matters and transfer them. You adjust this setup from your dashboard anytime, even as your team grows or the way you work changes.
That means the desk phone is not a choice that locks you in forever, but a piece that can move with how your business operates. Start with one phone at reception, add softphones for the sales team later, connect mobile phones for field staff, and turn on a voicebot once the volume justifies it. Everything runs under the same business number and dashboard.
Desk phones in office, remote, or international locations
Whether your team works from one office, remote locations, or spread across international branches โ every desk phone registers with our platform through the internet, so the phone’s physical location doesn’t affect how people reach your business number.
