A call that arrives in the United States and goes on to a VoIP line in your own country costs a different amount from one to a US mobile. You get that rate with your proposal; it is the one thing we cannot put on the page, because it differs per route.

Foreign numbers can be sold in two ways: by buying them in from someone else, or by holding the license yourself. You only notice the difference when something out of the ordinary is needed — an urgent change, a non-standard routing, a question from the regulator.

We offer two main types: Toll-free numbers (800, 888, 877, 866, 855, 844, 833) which are free for callers anywhere in the US and Canada, and Local area code numbers that give you a presence in a specific city or state (e.g. 212 for New York, 310 for Los Angeles, 312 for Chicago).
No. Both toll-free and local area code numbers are available with your business address. No US entity or address is required, making it straightforward for businesses to enter the American market.
Toll-free numbers allow callers from within the United States and Canada to call you at no cost to them. As the number holder, you pay for incoming calls. These numbers are widely recognized and trusted by American consumers, especially for sales and support lines. Note that US toll-free numbers can only be dialed from within the United States and Canada — they cannot be called from abroad.

US numbers follow the North American Numbering Plan (NANP): a 3-digit area code plus a 7-digit number, for example 212-555-1234. The country code is +1. When dialed internationally the format is +1 212 555 1234.
