    For local numbers we submit the proof of address to the regulator. That is the only part you have to wait for.

About Polish phone numbers

We offer two types: 800 toll-free numbers which are free for the caller and work nationwide, and local geographic numbers that give you a presence in a specific Polish city (e.g. 22 for Warsaw, 12 for Kraków, 61 for Poznań, 71 for Wrocław).

For 800 toll-free numbers, a worldwide address is accepted — you can order them with your business address. For local geographic numbers, a verifiable Polish address in the corresponding area is required by UKE, the Polish telecom regulator.

800 numbers allow callers from within Poland to call you at no cost to them. As the number holder, you pay for incoming calls. These numbers are a trusted format for customer support and sales lines in the Polish market. Note that 800 toll-free numbers can only be dialed from within Poland — they cannot be called from abroad.

Polish numbers are 9 digits after the country code. Geographic numbers start with an area code (e.g. 22 for Warsaw, 12 for Kraków) followed by 7 digits. The country code is +48. Format internationally as +48 22 123 45 67.

Toll-free 800 numbers can typically be activated within one business day. Local geographic numbers may take slightly longer due to the address verification requirement.
